Landed at 15:00 hours then got a fixed price $17 + $3 tip each) dollar shared ride van with a guy in his huge vehicle that reminded me of the music artist 50 Cent to San Remo Hotel. A taxi would have been $65 plus a lot more if they get stuck in traffic on the bypass and yes is it was very busy. Picked his daughter up from school on route to the hotel. Hilarious driver highlight of the day! Drove past Steven McQueens apartment from the film Bullit ( 1153—1157 Taylor Street San Francisco) and the shop opposite on route. Driver said that 6th Street is a bit of a dodgy area and it did appear to be. Many homeless there also. We also saw a cable car break down on the cross road.
