We checked out of the hotel and I drove us down Lombard Street all the way from Alpha Inn & Suites to the famous steep zig zag road. Hilarious road everyone was driving down it. We then drove to Coit Tower. It was $8 to go up the elevator to the top and look out of the tower at a great view.
We had a look around the shops and bought a few little gifts. An example of a market shop below.
We went all the way back to Roxie Market in San Francisco for the best rolls ever. We said we travelled all this way back to this place for a lovely sandwich and made her feel a little guilty. The lady ran out of bread so I suggested maybe she could use bread that is for sale down the Isles on the shelves. She was happy to do that and made me and Ryan a regular sandwich which is a monster! It is like a Subway sandwich but a lot more filling and a lot bigger and so tasty!
We then took a random drive to try and get one last picture of San Francisco Oakland Bay Bridge.
We then returned the car a little early to Hertz and got a receipt. I took a video of the condition we left the car in for peace of mind.
We then got our luggage sorted went through security and checked in.
The plane we had was a lot more posh on the way back with USB charger and touch screen.
I am typing this at 17:51 whilst we are waiting for our National Express coach which is due at 18:45. We will arrive in Poole at 21:40. Ryans parents collected us and took us home.
